Museum Info: Tours

Group Rate Visits are available for groups of 10 or more individuals and are generally available at any time during Museum hours.  In order to receive the discounted admission rate, you will need to make your reservation through the Museum's tour office.  These visits should be scheduled at least one week in advance.

SAMA offers Docent Led Tours for groups of 10 or more individuals.  In order to receive the discounted group admission rate, reservations must be made through the tour office at least two weeks in advance.  Book your Docent Led Adult Tour online at http://www.samuseum.org/education/tour_register.php?type=a

Docent Led Tours for school groups are led by SAMA's trained docents who provide 50-minute tours designed to meet school curriculum needs. We accommodate 30-60 students per time slot.  Special accommodations will be made for larger groups.  Ask about our bilingual tour guides!
Admission fees are $2 per student and $2 per chaperone. One chaperone is required per 10 students.  Chaperone must be 18 years or older.

Wednesday Student Workshops are led by SAMA’s trained docents and offered on Wednesdays during the school year from 9:45 am to 11:45 am. Each workshop consists of a gallery tour followed by a hands-on art project designed to meet curriculum standards.  We can accommodate 30 – 40 students per workshop. 
Admission fees are $3 per student and $3 per chaperone. One chaperone is required per 10 students. Chaperone must be 18 years or older.
